Registered shareholders of Vectren Corporation can reinvest dividends and purchase additional Vectren stock without having to pay brokerage commissions or service charges through Vectren's Automatic Dividend Reinvestment and Stock Purchase Plan. Participants may purchase as little as $25.00 per month and up to $100,000 per year.

Stock certificates of Vectren's two predecessor companies must be exchanged. Dividends from unexchanged certificates are accrued and will not be paid until an exchange has taken place. When appropriate unexchanged certificates and dividends will be escheated to the state of last known residence. To exchange Indiana Energy or SIGCORP certificates for Vectren certificates, contact Wells Fargo at (866) 614-9636.
Vectren does not have any publicly traded preferred stock. Southern Indiana Gas & Electric Company's (SIGECO) 4.8% preferred stock was redeemed on October 16, 2001 at a redemption price of $110 per share plus dividends accrued through that date.
Vectren Utility Holdings, Inc had 7 1/4% Senior Notes, par value of $25, due on October 15, 2031 listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol, AVU. On October 19, 2006 these notes were redeemed for cash equal to 100% of the principal amount plus interest accrued from October 15, 2006 to the redemption date.
